Our teams are creating a list of roofing phrases, roofing terminology and roofing definitions to help you to know what we are talking about. We tend to use roofing terms everyday but you may not. We hope they help when you talk to our teams.
Gable
Soffit: The underside of an architectural feature, as a beam, arch, ceiling, vault, or cornice roof. A roof sloping downward in two parts at an angle from a central ridge, so as to leave a gable at each end.
